К ним авторы относят сохранение традиционного уклада, неэффективность государственной политики, недопредставленность индейцев в политической системе стран региона. Авторская гипотеза проверяется на основе рассмотрения социально-экономического положения индейцев в четырех странах Латинской Америки: Гватемале и Боливии(с большой долей автохтонного населения), Колумбии и Гондурасе(с незначительной долей автохтонного населения).  По завершении анализа взаимосвязи феномена “индейского ренессанса” и изменений в социально-экономическом положении индейцев авторы пришли к важным выводам, среди которых расплывчатость и маргинальность самого явления “индейского ренессанса” и нежелательность его применения (“неоиндихенизм” считаем более предпочтительным), а также невозможность выявить причинно-следственную связь между долей индейцев в общей численности населения отобранных стран и социально-экономическим и политическим положением этих групп.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article suggests key factors that reveal the reasons why the phenomenon of the "Indigenous Renaissance" (greater political involvement of representatives of the indigenous peoples in Latin America) did not lead to a significant change in the socio-economic situation of the indigenous population of the region. The key factors include the preservation of the traditional way of life, the ineffectiveness of state policy, the underrepresentation of Indians in the political system of the region’s countries. The authors’ hypothesis is tested based on  considering the socio-economic situation of Indians in four Latin American countries: Guatemala and Bolivia (with a large proportion of the autochthonous population), Colombia and Honduras (with a small proportion of the autochthonous population). Upon completing the analysis of the relationship between the phenomenon of the "Indigenous Renaissance" and changes in the socio-economic situation of the Indians, the authors came to important conclusions, including the vagueness and marginality of the phenomenon of the "Indigenous Renaissance" and the undesirability of its application ("neo-indigenism" is considered preferable), as well as the inability to identify a causal relationship between the share of Indians in the total population of the selected countries and the socio-economic and political status of these groups.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>индейский ренессанс</kwd><kwd>индихенизм</kwd><kwd>неиндихенизм</kwd><kwd>индейский вопрос</kwd><kwd>политика предоставления автономий</kwd><kwd>языковая политика в Латинской Америке</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>The Indigenous Renaissance</kwd><kwd>Indigenism</kwd><kwd>Neo-indigenism</kwd><kwd>the Indian issue</kwd><kwd>the policy of&#13;
